How to Study.com - Pancake123 - 01-07-2021 Greetings, I'm currently taking my first Study.com course. Looking for a little crowdsourced help. I'm aware that the final is proctored with a thirdparty. For StraighterLine courses, I had to pre-schedule my proctored exam. Does anyone know how it works with Study.com? I have to reach 100 credits with TESU, by the end of this month to be allowed to enroll in the Capstone and I'm a little anxious about having to wait to take this Study.com course final exam. I don't see any info on Study.com that walks a newbie like me through the process of taking the final exam. Many thanks! P RE: How to Study.com - Flelm - 01-07-2021 SDC uses RPNow. Essentially, it's asynchronous and you don't need to schedule a time slot. There's no live proctor, you record your test to their cloud servers whenever you want and they'll review it after the fact. https://study.com/academy/popular/how-to-take-a-studycom-proctored-exam.html RE: How to Study.com - rachel83az - 01-07-2021 The first couple of times with RPNow can be a bit nerve-wracking but it's not that bad. You've got this! RE: How to Study.com - bjcheung77 - 01-07-2021 If you can handle a StraighterLine proctored final exam, the Study.com proctored final exam is even easier! Just take it when you think you're ready, it doesn't use a person to monitor you in real time, it's recorded to be reviewed later. You still need to have a screenshot of your room and also picture id, but no other "person/proctor" to worry about, the system RPNow is so much better and easier to use too! RE: How to Study.com - Pancake123 - 01-07-2021 Thanks for all the encouragement folks! I made it through Straigherline's A&P and the A&P lab which included me in my basement full of tears dissecting the body parts of some poor unfortunate animals. This is such a relief. I've used them for 9 SDC classes, 2 ASU EA classes and an edX MicroBachelor's(probably a few others that I've forgotten already). Never had any issues. |
