I see some folks say the DSST for Management Information Systems can full-fill the CIS-301 requirement for TESU's BA in Comp Sci.

However on the TESU website I see it noted as a lower level business course. Is this just a case of context from the business college to the comp sci one?

It's also on the list in the Understanding the Physical and Natural World.

It comes in as MIS, but as LL no matter what degree.  So for BACS, it's a LL elective in the AOS.

If you take it through Study.com or Davar though, it's UL.

Maybe the older DSST was brought in as UL credit? For both CS and CIS, there is a distinct lack of alt-credit UL courses.

It was downgraded by ACE back in 2013, but TESU continued to bring it in as UL for quite some time after that.  But eventually they decided to more closely follow ACE on these.
