$350/credit hour

kinda ex, but they have a list of Latin classes if anyones looking for em.

At that price, I'd be expecting Julius Caesar to return from the dead to personally tutor me.

Joking aside, 350/credit isn't horrendous for a regular uni course, but I don't know where universities get off trying to charge that for self-paced courses. Putting a course together isn't cheap, but once you've recorded the lectures and set up the posting schedule, there's a lot less time investment required to maintain the content.
Furthermore, many more students can be enrolled in self-paced asynchronous courses (as opposed to live, paced, synchronous courses) so trying to charge the same for both seems pure gouging because they can.

If I'm paying $350 a credit hour, I expect to be able to ask questions of the professor AS I'm working through the material, not having to send in an email or post on the course discussion forums and getting a response 48 hours later from another student, or a harried, underpaid course assistant.

But this one will come with a legit UT Austin transcript. I think that'll make the credits more transferable.
