NAU Competency-based program question - nomaduser - 11-20-2020

Hello guys,

Now I'm interested in NAU's competency based undergraduate online program.
How many courses were you guys able to finish within a single subscription term??
My goal is getting more than 45 credits within a single subscription term (6 months).
Would that be possible?

I don't attend NAU, but I'm in a competency based program. No one can say how many credits anyone can complete in a term. Everyone is different. It all depends on the amount of time you have to study and write papers/projects, your previous knowledge of the subject, and how dedicated you are. I will have completed 36 credits at UMPI in 16 weeks, but I do this full time. I don't have a job currently. I don't have kids. I work on this 7 days a week. I have a strict schedule that I keep with daily and weekly goals. I put in a great deal of planning aka time management each week to keep me going. My husband is attend a CBE program at Purdue Global and he is hoping to complete 15 credits in 10 weeks. He's on track for 10 credits in 10 week so far. He has a full time job and doesn't do this 7 days a week. He would never complete 45 credits in 6 months.

I'm planning to take a vacation for at least 3 months and spent 14 hours a day, 7 days a week on this.

Oh well in that case, then I do think you could do it since you won't be doing anything else except maybe showering. LOL The papers/projects take faaaar longer than the course content.
