Big 3 Costs Comparison: Added Brandman & WGU - bjcheung77 - 10-15-2020 Since Rachel83az created a wiki page in regards to Associates Degrees, I decided to check up on the fees for a BA... You can compare the fees below. The link she created is https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Associate's_Degrees Let's pretend we need 5 months of Sophia at $79 = $395 Let's also pretend we need 3 months UL Study.com = $600 And you take all the FREE TEEX courses for 10 credits So, total cost of 90-100 credits would be $995 For COSC only, they require 24 credits RA. Excelsior also has the Information Literacy 1 cr. course requirement for an additional $510 RE: Big 3 Costs Comparison: Added Brandman & WGU - rachel83az - 10-16-2020 With Excelsior, it's also only slightly more expensive to take an extra 2 classes with them than it is to take just the 7 credits: $410 x 12 = $4920 $410 x 13 = $5330 $510 x 7 = $3570 + $1095 = $4665 An extra $665 for 6 credits or $225 for 5 credits at Excelsior is cheaper than a lot of self-study options for those difficult-to-find courses (like the history ones). So I show that a BA/BS at EC is $5300 if you bring in 113cr. If you only bring in 107cr, and take 2 courses there, you pay $5850, a difference of $550. |
