Which IT Program? - bext - 10-02-2020 I'm thinking of enrolling in WGU but not sure which IT program. Thinking about the cloud one but not sure. I have an AA degree and have taken a few computer courses. I'm not so much a fan of programming but I enjoy linux & networking. I've always been good at math but the highest I've taken was Precal and it's been years so I'd probably have to take it again as a refresher as needed. I also want a degree that will be make me highly employable. Which one should I choose? Edit: Here's my past courses: 2015 Comp Programming Concepts I (Java) - C+ 2015 Discrete Structures - A 2007 Statistics - B 2000 Precal I - B 2017 Linux Academy Essentials course RE: Which IT Program? - rachel83az - 10-02-2020 If you need a precalc refresher, I'd suggest taking ASU's self-paced Earned Admission option: https://ea.asu.edu/courses/precalculus-mat-170 It uses ALEKS so you only have to study what you don't remember. It's also free so long as you don't upgrade/take it for credit. Since you like networking, what about the Network Operations and Security degree? There is a lot of call for network admin/engineers. |
