Excelsior Upper Level Classes - TorsMama - 07-11-2020

Because of financial aid, I might WANT to take 2 Upper-Level Classes at Excelsior. I am hoping for ones with the least amount of writing! I enjoy these subjects: physiology, philosophy, sociology, humanities. Any suggestions?

Difficult to say because i never take any EC course. Anyway based in the subjects you list, if you don't want to write a lot, maybe Physiology is better; but you will need to read a lot.

If you look at the individual courses on the EC website, you can review the syllabus. That should give you some idea about the amount of writing. What you consider a lot of writing, others won't. It's hard to say whether or not a class has a lot of writing even after taking it. If I knew you really well in real life, then I would better be able to answer you. Like I know my husband very well. He's now looking to complete his bachelor's degree. I showed him a few options and he went looking on his own and hated what he found so he came back to me for help. I told him the options he looked at would be terrible for him. Why? I know how much writing is required at CSU Global and he hates writing. He hates timed test as well. So I'm trying to get him to choose between TESU and WGU along with maximizing Sophia's courses through the end of the month and then he'll move on to Study.com. I have it all planned for him. I know him really well and I know he's strengths and weaknesses. He isn't thrilled with a speech class so I found an alternative - Interpersonal Communication. He has to write some papers but he would rather do that than write a speech and talk to his cell phone.

You might take a look at the course syllabus for courses of interest and look up the teachers on ratemyprofessors.com. Looks like there’s 190 teachers rated. Maybe you could narrow it down that way.
