Sophia Changes Registration Policy - Clepper43 - 06-10-2020
Tried to add courses to my son's account for the future dates and was told "Pre-registration is no longer available. If you start the course and don't get finished by the End Dates, you can always contact us and we can offer you a 30-day extension."
So basically whenever I added a course, its start date was today. I couldn't change that.
Although I would have liked to have added those courses for free for a future start, I really can't complain about Sophia and will forever grovel at their feet for this amazing deal we have had!!

I am about a quarter way thru the Sopia courses, for whatever reason, while telling myself I have time so why was I, I literally registered and scheduled out all the courses spread between now and mid August over the weekend. I had a feeling I needed to, and sorta felt that maybe it would help keep me motivated, but mostly it was a feeling that I had to schedule them out. I am very glad upon reading this that i did.

Yes it looks like I can no longer postpone future start dates for my classes. Thankfully I already pushed them back a bit but I'm going to have a crazy-busy summer/fall!

Most likely. It does affect people’s timelines and gives them less time than they anticipated.
