Online Testing Options during COVID19 closures - vetvso - 04-18-2020 From what I could find there is still TECEP testing possible, and others may begin opening in May 2020. Has anyone found this to be incorrect? Has anyone found this to be incorrect? Anything that already used an online proctoring service should be fine. TESU uses ProctorU, and they are fully operational. RPNow was never down. Examity is working as well. Has anyone found this to be incorrect? I have been hoping DSST and CLEP would move online with online proctoring. So far I see no evidence of them wanting to do so. RE: Online Testing Options during COVID19 closures - Clepking100 - 04-18-2020 They already announced that clep / dsst not going online this year RE: Online Testing Options during COVID19 closures - MNomadic - 04-18-2020 Not that it will make a significant difference (because it won't) but here's a petition that people are signing to encourage college board to move the CLEP testing to remote: https://www.change.org/p/collegeboard-make-clep-exams-accessible-online RE: Online Testing Options during COVID19 closures - Merlin - 04-19-2020 (04-18-2020, 06:16 PM)dfrecore Wrote:(04-18-2020, 06:02 PM)vetvso Wrote: From what I could find there is still TECEP testing possible, and others may begin opening in May 2020. Has anyone found this to be incorrect? FYI, Examity has been overwhelmed since they are used to operating out of a callcenter. WGU switched over to them exclusively a while back and many students are still struggling to schedule exams with them. I know that Examity has been trying to get their proctors over to working from home but it's been slow. They have also hired a bunch of new people, but the latest word is that they might start doing something similar to RPnow for a while until they're up to speed. I haven't heard any issues with ProctorU, so maybe they've been better at switching to WFH for their proctors. |
