Psychology or Sociology updated plan? - sony732 - 01-21-2020 Hey guy I know I posted a few times, and life got crazy so I never got to even attempt a degree. Now that things are settling down, I'm ready to visit this goal again. I know things have probably changed, so I'm posting again here, because all of my search results are coming up with posts from 2015. I'm going for either a psychology or social sciences, whichever is more attainable with a tight budget and won't take me forever to finish. Thank you guys so much if you have time to help me on this! I'm going to be going to TESU, and I have the following credits: English 1 &2 (6) Western civ 1&2 (6) public speaking (3) gen. Psych (3) Sociology (3) human life span development (3) macroeconomics (3) world religions (3) small business management (3) intro to paralegal studies (3) RE: Psychology or Sociology updated plan? - CarpeDiem8 - 01-21-2020 Hey welcomes back! The BA in Social Sciences isn't available any longer, however, there is a BA in Sociology. That degree requires a course that does not have alt credit available and have to be taken through TESU. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/JSD%27s_BA_in_Sociology The BA in Psychology is the most alt credit friendly option. JSD's plan is still good to follow: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/JSD%27s_BA_in_Psychology The other big change since 2015 are the required TESU courses, SOS-110, and their capstone. TESU does offer a Study.com discount, which we encourage you to take advantage of. HTH! RE: Psychology or Sociology updated plan? - dfrecore - 01-22-2020 You mentioned Sociology in the title, but then Social Sciences in the post. There is still a Sociology degree, or there is a Social Sciences concentration within the BALS degree. |
