RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - udi - 12-18-2019 I got the same email. Not sure if it matters much for me because I always need the original source documents. RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - bjcheung77 - 12-18-2019 Yeah, I guess that'll save some people money and it seems like an easier transition to all digital vs snail mail in some cases... It won't really affect anyone in regard to getting their transcripts sent to the school as electronically is cheaper, easier, and faster. RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - BrighterFuture88 - 12-18-2019 Hell, I’ll take cheaper transfers over what they have any day of the week. RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - cookderosa - 12-19-2019 this is really great news because it is still free to set up an account (even though it *says* it costs $20, I've had 2 users confirm they set their account up for free) and now you can get transcripts for free. Win win RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - eriehiker - 12-19-2019 WES is also using this service for credential reviews: https://www.wes.org/advisor-blog/wes-digital-badges/ This could be interesting. I have looked at credly before in relation to digital badges. It is a nice wallet for these badges. This could be good if they end up finding a pathway for college credit via digital badges like this program via Ashland University: http://edgeubadges.com/ Of course, if this is the first step of moving away from the credit hour, this may or may not good. RE: ACE is switching how they transfer your transcripts - jamshid666 - 12-23-2019 This will be interesting having all of the college course badges and certification badges all together in one location. |
