New guy asking new guy things - sampac13 - 12-12-2019 Hello All, I first want to thank you all for a very informative forum that has given me much guidance and momentum moving toward me getting my bachelors degree. I have just applied to TESU and am awaiting for my approval of the application. I have submitted my transcripts from my previous university. It looks like I will have around 44 credits toward my degree. I have read and re-read several of the posts here but I had some specific questions. I was wondering if there is any way to apply my carrier toward any credits (currently a project manager/consultant). I want to get started but I am looking for some guidance on what i can get started on and how to move forward. I know study.com is a valuable resource to several of you on this thread. Should I go ahead and sign up for study.com right away? Should I wait for my assesment to be done by TESU before moving forward with taking any CLEP exams (I dont really know where to start) and should i wait for TESU to provide me a course guide on what to take? Thank you all so much for keeping up with very valuable resource and hope to contribute as well in the near future. Thank you, Sam RE: New guy asking new guy things - bjcheung77 - 12-12-2019 You haven't specified which degree you're going for. I would assume it's a BALS or BSBA as those are the most common. Anyways, here goes: For your BALS/BSBA, you can follow this thread. I was going to copy/paste the entire thing, but then sending you the link would be easier. Link: https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/pla - I would just go through doing the courses vs getting a PLA though, it depends on your situation. I will begin looking into it. How fast can you typically go thorough a course using study.com as a guide to learn? Do you typically see most of the quiz answers that are on study.com in the actual CLEP exams? Thanks so much for the replay! |
