Is it true that COSC will not accept the CLEP English Composition without essay for English I? How about the CLEP WITH essay? Would they accept the DSST (forgot the exact name) for English II? Or would they accept study.com Technical writing for English II?

COSC will accept the CLEP with ESSAY (College Composition) for 6 credits. COSC will also accept the DSST for English 2 (if you took an essay writing course for English 1).In summary,you must take at least one exam or course that consists of writing essays.(COSC does NOT accept the Modular College Composition exam which has NO essay).

They will accept the Tech Writing course for English II - but even though it's ACE-recommended for UL, it's now considered LL which is a bummer, because that was a good way to get in some UL credit where you're going to do the same amount of work for a LL English course.
