Teex cyber online course - Imbanewbie - 07-23-2019 It is getting fancy now. It is giving a certification for each accomplish course. I was on and off. I feel I want to complete all the cyber courses teex. The hard part each online course it will take looooong time to finish it. Do anyone put on the resume? How do you put it on the resume? RE: Teex cyber online course - dfrecore - 07-23-2019 I couldn't even finish the first one, it took WAY too long. I always tell people not to get bogged down by it - if it's going to cause you to lose momentum, it's not worth it. RE: Teex cyber online course - cookderosa - 07-23-2019 Yeah, you have to be pretty motivated to get through the courses. My son that did all of them when they were only 6 credits total *could* go back and do it now for MORE credit, but I think he'd run away if I even suggested it lol, so we're sitting tight. But, if you think this might give you a job skill that helps, add it on there! Thanks to your website https://homeschoolingforcollegecredit.com/14-texas-engineering-extension-teex/ and the new method. I knocked out ARW 168 in 2 days! I plan to knock out AWR174 in two days as well, depending on how dry the material is. I'm having an evaluation at COSC and figured while everything is being sent in, see what I can knock out in a week before my ACE transcript gets sent. My tips, take notes of the bold words and topics they give you in the summaries. Don't bother with the quizes unless you want to, and use a process of elimination to help with your odd's. Usually there are 3 bad answers and you can figure out the correct one. Memorize your pre test answers too! This probably isn't the most efficient method to "learn" the material but it is the only way I can stand to do these class's, and I am actually learning from it to a degree lol RE: Teex cyber online course - Ideas - 07-24-2019 (07-23-2019, 06:26 PM)cookderosa Wrote: Yeah, you have to be pretty motivated to get through the courses. At least 2 of us redid one and didn't get any additional credit. It was just a duplicate somehow. My son just graduated high school last month and he works as a summer lifeguard, so not relevant at this point. He is, however, a college student in IT & Digital Forensics, which is on his resume. If you have a "continuing education" or "professional development" section on your resume, I would put it there. I think it is easy for a registrar to make the mistake and award credit under the old cyber 2 credit format. You may have to take the time to help them see the new assignment of credit. We didn't redo them, but if we did, I would fight for the extra credit no question.
