SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - SweetsugarNL - 07-16-2019 How much math is in these course? The intro says it have math but i dont find it in the syllabus. RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - lacussucceed - 07-16-2019 It is a small portion of the course. (14%) And this is to demonstrate you are at least well prepared for succeeding the degree program. RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - SweetsugarNL - 07-16-2019 Do you need to pass on the math portion? RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - lacussucceed - 07-16-2019 Yes you do, please check the syllabus as there is detailed specifics on the math part. RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - Mousebouncer - 07-17-2019 You have got to be kidding. How much math do you need to know to pass? Did Aleks math as some of the very first credits years ago! Yuck, better find a quick math book. To you all taking this...do you think it is possible to do the Capstone at the same time with the new changes? RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - bjcheung77 - 07-17-2019 Mousebouncer, yes. The Cornerstone should be an easy A even with the math component. If you or anyone else is going to be taking the cornerstone along with the capstone as your only courses, you can - but you should spend 80/20 - 80 percent of the time working on the Capstone and 20 working on the Cornerstone. Starting in September! RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - SweetsugarNL - 07-18-2019 I have read the sybalbus but dont understand the math section. Why do you need to pass this? Do you not can get enough credits on the other things? RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - lacussucceed - 07-18-2019 Because it says you have to pass. As I pointed out, it is a very small portion of your grade. And as above here is said, the math (or even the entire course) shouldn't be too difficult. RE: SOS-110: Critical Information Literacy math skills? - SweetsugarNL - 07-18-2019 Do you know if ECE have the same requires? |
