Should I be worried? (Study.com Proctored Exam) - AwardTour - 07-02-2019

I was in the middle of taking my proctored exam with Study.com when a message popped up from the proctor software saying "Cannot Run Windows Photo Viewer During Exam". I closed the message and was able to finish the exam.

I did not have it running in the background before the exam. I don't even use that program. I did not try to access that program during the exam. I have no idea what caused that to happen. Should I be worried? Will my exam be disqualified?

Shouldn't be a problem, I've had the same and similar things happen and they've all been reviewed and approved without issue.

Thanks for the reply and for putting me at ease.

I had this happen also and practically had a heart attack! No issues though - went through and got credit.

Hope this eases your stress a bit!

One of my boys' exams had a pop up about Skype.  We don't have Skype on the computer but I was worried about the exam.  It was all fine though.

For the very first SDC exam I took, I had problems with my webcam and had to contact their tech support for help, and that triggered a satisfaction survey which opened my internet browser in the background. I didn't notice until the exam was already almost over. I panicked a bit but ended up having no issues. Maybe because they reviewed the video and I clearly wasn't looking at anything other than the test.

The first time I did the exam, the proctoring software froze during the room scan. I tried to regain control over my computer by opening the task manager, got a warning message, and then the whole thing closed. I was able to type the exam code in again and continue through.
