Upper-level credit??? - bmills072200 - 02-11-2008 Can someone explain the difference between upper-level and lowe-level credit? I hope this is not a stupid question... Upper-level credit??? - cinderly - 02-11-2008 Upper level & lower level are classifications universities use to wring more money out of their students. Ahem. Upper level courses are supposed to be more advanced or specialized in a given field of study. Introductory and survey courses are typically lower level, while courses that allow the student to explore a specific sub-field in depth are usually upper level. Upper level courses typically build on the introductory/survey courses. Universities vary in whether they classify credits as upper or lower level. TESC counts 200 and up as upper level, while EC takes 300 and up. Is that even close to answering what you were asking? Upper-level credit??? - bmills072200 - 02-12-2008 yes - thanks |
