Online MBA - Imbanewbie - 03-17-2019
i would like to get the cheapest online MBA and it is accredited AACSB. I am looking into Missouri state university. I would like to feedback about this school.

Cheap and AACSB are going to be hard to find. Most of the less expensive programs are ACBSP, IACBE, or they may be programmatically unaccredited.
Here is a list of all the current AACSB universities and business schools. You can use this list to track down a school that meets your requirements. Most will be pretty expensive though.

FYI, I moved this thread to the graduate school area since that is more relevant to this discussion. You may have a better chance of getting feedback from someone familiar with the MSU graduate programs there.

Merlin certainly understands the distinction, but a newcomer might not. Plenty of legit, accredited schools have very good business programs that are not programmatically accredited.
In the real world, outside of academia and perhaps some very high level wall street jobs or specific licensure related fields, no one gives a care a about AACSB, et al.

Sorry, my bad. I should have mentioned that. I fixed it in my original post. Yes, a college or university doesn't need a specific business program accreditation to offer legit business degrees; as long as the college or university itself is RA (or NA) accredited, that is all that is required. But like jsd says, there are some organizations that do care more about such things, particularly when looking at accounting degrees and the like.
The original poster mentioned AACSB, which is the highest regarded of the business program accreditors, so clearly they have a specific need for that level of accreditation.

What do you think about the accredited for ACBSP, IACBE. I heard that the AACSB is the best to get for your degree. Missouri State university is very affordable, but I never heard about the school, so I am asking for feedback. I am thinking to ale one course or two each semester. What is the academic pressure and workload at Missouri state university like for an online MBA? Do you remember which courses are more difficult? I can take it one class for one semester. I am so worry that I can not handle it with working full time and family. I never took online class before, so it will be my first time. I appreciate for your opinion

Isn't this a bit ironic too since AACSB no longer has CHEA accreditation? At least, not that I can find.

I do not know much about Missouri State University and their program, however I can give some insight into my journey at Southeastern Oklahoma State University's AACSB accredited program.
The online MBA program at SOSU has been phenomenal. I personally like the structure and guidance of a traditional, accelerated online format instead of a knowledge based curriculum. The instructors/professors are very knowledgeable and engaged with the classes that need the engagement. The material is presented well and it is presented in a manner that makes it applicable to what one may do on a daily basis in the workforce. The enrollment process is seamless and those on campus are easy to get into contact with. They do not require a GMAT for admission but to graduate you do have to pass a Major Field Test. If one thinks just because there is no GMAT required that it will be easy, they will quickly learn that is not the case. The program has to adhere to AACSB guidelines and so forth so the program is still rigorous.
