Need suggestions for passing DANTES Criminal Justice - hopefulgrad - 02-03-2008 I will be (hopefully) be taking my final DANTES test this Tuesday. I'm going to try Criminal Justice. I've gone through the flashcards 2x so far. I've been writing down terms and definitions I'm not familiar with (which gave me writer's cramp!). I've never taken a criminal justice class. Anyone who has taken this test, any suggestions? What can I expect, etc. I HAVE to pass this test in order to "walk" at graduation in May. Can anyone help? Thanks much! Good luck! JoAnne Need suggestions for passing DANTES Criminal Justice - Airman Johnson - 02-03-2008 If you have gone through twice and took notes you should be plenty prepared. Oh btw.. you should pry look through law enf. flashcards as well becausea lot overlaps. I took the tests the same day, and went through each set of flashcards once, took some notes, and used a lot of common sense. Need suggestions for passing DANTES Criminal Justice - GettinMyBA - 02-03-2008 I just took it last week. InstaCert cards are on the money for this test. Make sure you know all of the court decisions in the cards because they are ALL on the test, and it's not possible to narrow your choices... ie: they had these answers for like 5 straight questions: A) Mapp vs. Ohio B) Gideon vs. Wainwright C) Powell vs. Alabama D) Some other case but I'm drawing a blank If you don't know the cases perfectly, you will likely get a bunch of questions wrong. Tons of questions on juvenile deliquency, but again - nothing that IC cards won't prepare you for. If you go to the 'exam specific' section, I recall a few people posted some exact questions (and their answer choices) of which ALL were on the actual exam that I took. Best of luck! |
