Bio 101? - brandie - 12-24-2018

I'm looking at my degree path for the BALS from TESU. I see BIO101 on their (Intro to Bio) I have credit from a previous college for Bio 103. Does anyone know of these are comparable?

Well we don't know what your course was or what college it was. If your course was something along the lines of general biology 1, intro to biology, etc. Then it should work.

Was Bio 103 the course number at your previous college? What was the actual name of the course?

TESU will bring just about anything that's college-level in as a transfer, it's just a matter of where it goes. Your course will probably go into the NatSci area.

The course was literally just called Biology 103.

...ok
Anyway dfrecore is right, TESU will most likely take it and it should fulfill part of your natural science requirements.

Which college was this? Was there no name such as Bio 103 - Intro to Bio.
Basically, it boils down to it being developmental or remedial level or not.
If it came from a Regionally accredited community college, you should be good.
If it came from a Nationally accredited college, you won’t get credit for it.
