Excelsior and FEMA - BMWGuinness - 01-22-2008 I submitted the form to FEMA to send my transcripts to TESC, and noticed you could send to 2 places with 1 form, so I sent to Excelsior as well. Now, I have a FEMA record of received trancripts with Excelsior. Don't think it really means much, but you never know. That's so funny. I am finishing my degree at Excelsior and I had my transcripts sent to TESC. Double trouble. hilarious Excelsior and FEMA - mapalo - 02-07-2008 BMWGuinness Wrote:I submitted the form to FEMA to send my transcripts to TESC, and noticed you could send to 2 places with 1 form, so I sent to Excelsior as well. I thought Excelsior no longer accepts FEMA credits from TESC... has anything changed in the past week? Mapalo Excelsior and FEMA - originalbigjim - 02-17-2008 as far as i know that is over. looks like you have to pay for fcc, making it very unattractive. Excelsior and FEMA - BrandeX - 02-18-2008 it's still very cheap and easy. Excelsior and FEMA - highlanderburial - 02-18-2008 I did mine through Clackamas, (OR) because I was going to get my degree in Emergency Management. I still don't have that degree yet but did score my BSL from Excelsior. On my EC transcript the short courses showed up as .67 credits professional developement. Clackamas also combined several into a 3 credit block for an actual grade (A of course!). CCC charges 30 to 45 dollars per CLASS not credit hour, so each Fema credit would cost 45 bucks for .67 credits, hardly worth it unless you were REALLY hurting for PD credits. Still, since I already had them.... I am debating if I want to start this process over again, and finish my AAS from CCC now that I have my BS, I only need one math credit (Clep General or Statistics). I am taking some time off from anything college for at least two months more than I will ponder it some more. -HB Excelsior and FEMA - pitbull30 - 02-18-2008 originalbigjim Wrote:as far as i know that is over. looks like you have to pay for fcc, making it very unattractive. When did this happen? So what about people who had them added before? Excelsior and FEMA - Greggy_D - 02-24-2008 I think it was Oct 1 or Nov 1 last year. If you already have them applied at Excelsior via the TESC Credit Bank, you are still good to go. Excelsior and FEMA - randalin - 02-25-2008 Have I missed something? I am looking all over, but I'm not finding a form with FEMA for a transcript. I must not be looking in the right place. I don't suppose anyone would be willing to point me at the transcript from FEMA? Closest I've found pertains to Frederick Community College. Thanks in advance! --Scott Excelsior and FEMA - Kelley - 02-25-2008 Emergency Management Institute - FEMA Independent Study Program FAQs Here is the link that will direct you to the transcript request form. I found it under FAQ's on the Fema Indepentent Study Program. Let me know if you need any more info. |
