TESU Liberal Studies specific question - rkleem - 12-04-2018

Hello all.  Had a question about the TESU Liberal Studies degree and was wondering if anyone could provide some insight?

I've already been admitted into TESU and I'm currently taking the Lib Arts Capstone.  I currently have 104 credits and I'm just finishing a few things up.  I have most of my general requirements done.  I choose to do the Liberal Arts degree with a concentration in Labor Studies, as I took quite a few labor studies at my former university.  All but, 1 of the required courses for the concentration in Labor Studies transferred over, History of Labor Movement, I'm not sure why that didn't as well, but so be it.

My question is, under the degree information page for Liberal Studies it gives you two options for AOS, option A, 30 credits, 15 UL....or option B, the 18 credit concentration (Labor Studies) plus 12 more credits.

Now, if I fulfill my 18 credit concentration can the other 12 be under 300/400 level?  The Labor Studies classes themselves they have in the concentration are 200 level at TESU, so I was a bit unsure how to fulfill this requirement if the 15 UL credits are necessary.  That being said under this concentration the Principles of Management, and Human Resource Management are considered UL so maybe I just have to make up the other 9 with Liberal Studies Class out of the 12 remaining?

I know it's complicated.  I've talked to two different advisors at TESU and I was told conflicting info and I'm still waiting for a reply.  I figured maybe someone has been in the same situation and could help.  Thanks so much.

Interesting situation... It's hard to answer without seeing what came into your evaluation, what you can do is copy/paste your academic evaluation from TESU OSS into this thread. We can see what courses went where and make sure to copy the "other courses" as well. These "other courses" may go somewhere if it can fit in those areas.
