TESU Incorrectly Labeled Study.com Course - nerd - 08-04-2018 Hello, TESU has incorrectly labeled Study.com's Computer Science 103: Computer Concepts & Applications course as Introduction to Computers 101 on my official Academic Evaluation, instead of labeling it CIS-107: Computer Concepts and Applications as I think it should have. As a result it has marked as a duplicate the Introduction to Computing DSST, and it hasn't been accepted for credit in the Natural World category of my BSBA General Management degree. I left TESU a message about this at their 609-777-5680 number. Anything else I should do? Should I plan on having to a different course, or should I wait this one out? RE: TESU Incorrectly Labeled Study.com Course - bjcheung77 - 08-04-2018 There is nothing you can do, they updated their transfer to reflect just that - they are duplicate courses that come in as COS-101. If you want a different course number, you should have taken the Business 104 Info Systems & Computer Applications, as that will come in as CIS 103, don't take the Business 109 - Intro to Computers as that will also duplicate at COS-101. If you took SL's IT Fundamentals, it will come in as CIS-107. My suggestion, email Study.com and plead your case, switch it to Business 104 and do the exam (hopefully free). Just state your error and if they don't grant that, then pay the $70 to take it. BTW, why are you taking that course? You're 116/120 credits, what course is missing? The capstone? RE: TESU Incorrectly Labeled Study.com Course - nerd - 08-04-2018 I need one additional credit in the Natural World section of my General Education requirements, as TESU requires four credits in that section (I have only three accepted credits in that area). The other three credits I need are for the capstone, yes. I'll look into taking Business 104, thanks. Would it matter that I’ve taken the Management Information Systems DSST? Or do MIS and the Business 104 course not overlap?
