TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - Nightmoves5 - 05-24-2018 Hi Folks, As I'm currently fighting my way through the capstone, I just discovered that the only copy of "Writing the Perfect Thesis and Dissertation" by Joyner, which describes how to go about the annotated biography, has disappeared from the library. According to the syllabus, that information is supposed to be on page 70. Would anyone happen to have a copy of this book? I really just need the description of what they're looking for in the annotated bibliography, that would help me tremendously. Thanks a lot in advance, I'm somewhat under pressure as time is not on my side. RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - jsh1138 - 05-24-2018 you're doing the Liberal Arts Capstone? or which one? RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - dfsquare - 05-24-2018 I've never found that book and online searches gave me a wide range of answers; some even said there should be 200 words per source. I've attached page 1 of mine. All my prof wanted was a short paragraph says why I felt the resource would be valuable in my research. Hopefully your prof will accept the same (but who knows). Good luck! Dawn RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - jsh1138 - 05-24-2018 yes, my professor just wanted a synopsis on each explaining why it was relevant to the topic, a paragraph should be fine i did the liberal arts capstone, that might make a difference if you're doing a different one RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - Johmford - 05-24-2018 You can answer the following by writing your annotated bib: What is the material, what makes it relevant to your project, what methods were used to create it, are there any particular strengths, are there any weaknesses in the resource. just my 2 cents RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - Nightmoves5 - 05-24-2018 (05-24-2018, 03:10 PM)jsh1138 Wrote: you're doing the Liberal Arts Capstone? or which one? RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - nashpond - 05-25-2018 The Purdue University OWL site has great information about all the APA formatting rules and had a section on annotated bibliographies. https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/664/01/ Hope this helps, Leah RE: TESU Capstone: Annotated Biography - High_Order1 - 05-26-2018 I never found that book, and I certainly wasn't going to pay for it.
