Failed Sophia Course? - BSLIONS - 04-23-2018
So I'm terrible at math, despised it when I was in high school. Loathed the fact that I had to take it even though I'd never use the majority of it in daily life. It's even worse now knowing that I need it for a degree even though I'm still never going to use it. Anyway, venting aside, I failed the Sophia statistics course by one question. Yes, 69%. Has anybody had any experience with what Sophia does when you fail? I tried searching the forum but didn't see anything.

Was it introduction to statistics or foundations of statistics?

It was the Foundations of Statistics course.

I think you can go back and redo some of the challenges and milestones to get higher grades. That may bump your grade up.

Maybe sign up on a different sophia site with a different email and retake it. It should still transfer to your ACE transcript.

They responded to an email that I sent.
“Thank you for reaching out. To achieve the required 70% overall, you will need to increase a challenge or milestone by at least one point. Please review your course and let us know which assessment you would like to have reset.”
So, it looks like they’ll work with you if you fail.
