COSC Science Lab -- ed4credit accepted? - stampbuyme - 04-17-2018 Does anyone know if COSC will accept the stand-alone biology lab course offered by ed4credit for the required science lab? I cannot find course equivalencies for ed4credit courses. Does such a list exist? Thanks if you can help. RE: COSC Science Lab -- ed4credit accepted? - dfrecore - 04-17-2018 No list exists, but they will take ACE credits, and also stand-alone labs through ACE. I would do it. However, I choose to go through the COSC lab instead so I didn't have to buy the SL lab kit. Kel RE: COSC Science Lab -- ed4credit accepted? - dfrecore - 04-17-2018 Yeah, I forgot to mention that with both SL and Ed4Credit, you have to buy more than just the course. SL has the membership, course and lab kit for a total of $327. Ed4Credit was $163 for the course plus lab kit. I think it ends up being less than any other way to do it. Not sure if you saw the post, but they have a $25 coupon right now for the lab! (We already have the biology credit thru CLEP.) With the $25 off coupon, the lab is $40. I found the lab kit they require (same version + brand new) on Mercari for $40. Retail $98. So.... lab credit for $80. If they take it, I don't think we can beat it. Just don't want to waste time and have it rejected.(04-17-2018, 08:00 PM)GoldieLux Wrote:(04-17-2018, 05:50 PM)dfrecore Wrote: Yeah, I forgot to mention that with both SL and Ed4Credit, you have to buy more than just the course. They take ACE, and have taken other stand-alone labs, so I'm not seeing the problem. I guess you should probably contact them. |
