Where to find a 3-credit painting class? - Pelican - 04-13-2018

I just need one 3-credit painting class to have a complete degree plan for a TESU BA in Art. Does anyone know a source for this?

Try your local CC.
I know via the standard "S" companies (Sophia, SL, Shmoop, Study, etc) they don't offer one. As far as I know, there isn't a credit by exam option either.
Long shot, but there might be an AP exam in Studio Art that you could use to hit their requirement depending on exactly what they need (you'd need to check in advance).

Have you considered doing via PLA portfolio?

I found an online option - it is rather expensive at $475 per credit hour (3 credit course).  It is a for-profit school but it is RA.

Get this pre-approved before you take it - it's actually a course for teacher's, and might come in as an EDU course rather than an ART course.

I don't see how any of these courses will count as "Painting".

My local CC is offering several sections of Painting I and Painting II but they are on campus. http://www.cpcc.edu

What state are you in? I am happy to help you look locally.

I am in New Mexico, but I already searched the course schedules for every public college in my state.
