Capstone TESU - d.cononge - 04-02-2018 Hey again all, I have just started the Business Administration Capstone through TESU for the April term. I am taking the course with Dr. Aschkenazi. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else on the forum is taking this capstone during this term. You don't have to specifically take it with Dr. Aschkenazi, but I simply wanted to see if anyone else is taking this same course at the same time so that we can bounce ideas off of each other! Just let me know! RE: Capstone TESU - TacticalTechie - 04-02-2018 Best of luck to you on your capstone! I just recently finished the January term for BUS-421 so if you need any help, feel free to ask! RE: Capstone TESU - jsh1138 - 04-03-2018 I started mine in the March term for my History degree. So i'm doing it now but will hopefully finish ahead of you RE: Capstone TESU - leland.kirk - 04-03-2018 I just got registered for the Liberal Arts Capstone for the May term! Do you guys know if these are somewhat self-paced? Or does the May term really end in late July? RE: Capstone TESU - davewill - 04-03-2018 Not self-paced at all. You will have assignments due regularly. You can pay for a course extension if life keeps you from finishing on time, however. If you think you may be late with an assignment, be sure to tell the mentor BEFORE it is overdue. My mentor was quite flexible, but he told me that school policy required that he dock points if an assignment was late without prior arrangement. https://www.tesu.edu/current-students/course-extension.cfm RE: Capstone TESU - leland.kirk - 04-03-2018 (04-03-2018, 03:01 PM)davewill Wrote: Not self-paced at all. I guess I just didn't expect it to last quite as long as it does RE: Capstone TESU - High_Order1 - 04-04-2018 (04-03-2018, 10:33 PM)leland.kirk Wrote: Ah, thanks! Trick is, go ahead and work on the next section. Don't commit it to stone, because what gets graded in the previous section may cause you to change, but while others wanted the small breaks I knocked stuff out in case I ran into issues. I misunderstood you're complaint about the ending date. You can always do another course in parallel, I suppose! I was starting a new job that required travel, so the timeline was fast... Plus writing was never easy for me. RE: Capstone TESU - JayUsher - 06-14-2018 (04-02-2018, 11:59 AM)d.cononge Wrote: Hey again all, Have you taken the midterm yet? I am scheduled to take mine tomorrow. Just curious how many essay questions, how many multiple choice questions, on the exam? Also, did you feel the midterm study guide prepared you well enough, especially with the essay portion. The practice midterm showed 4 essay questions worth 20 points each and 10 multiple choice questions were 2 points each. Really curious if the actual midterm was similar or not to those ratios. Thanks! (04-02-2018, 03:09 PM)TacticalTechie Wrote: Best of luck to you on your capstone!
