WGU Beta Tester "jobs" on HigherEdJobs - dmjacobsen - 03-05-2018

So, I've been keeping my eye out for the ideal adjunct nursing instructor position, but nothing has really caught my eye yet.

I have noticed, however, that WGU has been posting a lot of "Beta Tester" jobs that are showing up on HigherEdJobs, but not on the official WGU job portal. Does anyone know if these are actually paid positions (er, at least for the 3-4 hours that you're testing), or are they just looking for people to do this out of the kindness of their heart?  Rolleyes

I read through the computer architecture listing. They want experience and credentials, so I'd think there was some compensation, even if just some sort of gift rather than an hourly rate. If I had the time, I'd sign up and find out.

That's what I thought first as well, but then I read further down the listing and there are various levels -- Expert, Practitioner, and Novice. The Novice level only requires limited (or in some cases no) exposure to the topic, and no credentials.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to apply just to see.
