Study.com Grading timeline - 22gunsonfire - 02-28-2018 Whats the longest anyone has had to wait for grading from Study.com? I'd like to come to a reasonable estimate of wait time so I don't flood the service center with requests if I am just being impatient. Thanks! RE: Study.com Grading timeline - mudball - 02-28-2018 I have had to wait 4 days, but that was not with any papers or speeches, just the regular exam. RE: Study.com Grading timeline - 1thomasP - 02-28-2018 I waited I waited 4 days for grading and 3 additional days for ACE approval for 2 UL courses. RE: Study.com Grading timeline - 22gunsonfire - 02-28-2018 Update: I was waiting 7 days for the final and the project from BUS311 for grading. I sent a message today asking for a status update. I got the approval email saying my course was complete a few hours later. 12 minutes after that, I received a message about my message telling me my course work was shown as completed and they don’t know why I sent the first message. Coincidence? Maybe. Ha. RE: Study.com Grading timeline - rlw74 - 02-28-2018 I've had it take 2 weeks at the longest and less than 24 hours at other times. How does the scoring actually work. The final is out of 200 points I saw but there was 70 questions on my test. Are some questions weighed differently? It's percentage based. The quizzes are worth 100 points total and the final exam is worth 200 points total. You need 210 points to pass (70%). If you get 100% on your quizzes (you can take them up to 3 times, so this shouldn't be too tough), that is 100 points of the 300 total. You then only need 110 more points (110/200 = 55%) on the final exam to pass. The number of questions doesn't really matter, they're all worth the same amount since its X number of questions right out of Y total for the percentage. At least that is my experience so far. Of course, if you're taking a course with a project or essay(s), then the quizzes are worth 100 points, project/essays are worth 100 points, and the final is worth 100 points. Which makes it even easier to pass if you do well on the quizzes and project/essays. RE: Study.com Grading timeline - jsh1138 - 03-10-2018 they don't grade on holidays or weekends so it really just depends. for a course with no papers or projects, a week is about the longest i've ever had to wait. I've done around 20 Study.com courses so far if that matters to you (03-06-2018, 08:25 PM)Merlin Wrote:(03-06-2018, 08:06 PM)abbysoccerr Wrote:(02-28-2018, 09:24 PM)rlw74 Wrote: I've had it take 2 weeks at the longest and less than 24 hours at other times. another thing is that if the course requires say 3 papers and your first paper puts you over the line to pass, they don't make you turn in the other 2. that can save you a ton of time so I would always try to do well on the final and turn the papers in last RE: Study.com Grading timeline - leland.kirk - 03-12-2018 How long do you guys typically wait when transferring study.com courses directly to TESU? I personally wait until after I have finished the second proctored exam of each month and received confirmation that it's been approved. |
