ED4CREDIT Final - d.cononge - 01-31-2018

Hey all,

I will soon be taking the final for Ed4Credit's Abnormal Pyschology course, and I notice that you are only allowed one attempt, and that you must get over a 50% on the final to pass the entire course. Needless to say, I don't wanna fail. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has taken a final through Ed4Credit, and if anyone had general advice regarding how the final is structured, if their is any overlap between the individual test's and the final, etc, etc.

I would like to have some input ASAP, so any advice is appreciated! Thanks for all of the help and this great forum!

I took Managerial Accounting through them, and did well. I made sure that I got decent grades on all of my other exams (although certainly not all A's, as much as it would have been nice). Don't forget you can go back and retake any that you didn't do well on, and more than once if I remember correctly. But, I averaged 85% on all of the chapter tests, and then lo and behold, I got an 86% on the final. I think going back over test questions and figuring out what I did wrong was very helpful to studying for the final.

I took Microeconomics through ED4Credit... Took every chapter exam twice, reading the explanations to incorrect answers each time. The 2nd time around, the exams had different questions, so I was glad I did that. If the exam is open book like mine was, make sure you have the pdf pulled up BEFORE the exam starts because I forgot to do so and the proctor wouldn't allow me to get it at all. Despite no textbook, I still got a good grade because I studied the flashcards, redid the chapter exams, took the practice final, and made a study doc of everything I was rusty on. The final exam had similar material to the chapter exams, although almost all of the questions were worded differently, hence you need to understand WHY the answers are correct on the chapter exams.

Does Excelsior accept these courses?

RE: ED4CREDIT Final - jsd - 01-31-2018

They're ACE approved so EC will accept them, but there's probably not much information out there about how they'll be transcribed by EC

Looking at http://www2.acenet.edu/crm/cup/, Charter Oak and Thomas Edison can be found, but not Excelsior.

That is a list of ACE business partners, not a list of institutions that accept ACE credit recommendations.
