WGU Professional Development Courses? - teacher2 - 09-26-2017 I was curious if anyone on here knew about these. I found them the other day and I was wondering if they are at all useful? Here are some of the sources: FranklinCovey, MindEdge, Lynda.com, and SkillPort. WGU covers the cost of taking any of these professional development courses. Any thoughts anybody? RE: WGU Professional Development Courses? - quigongene - 09-26-2017 Was there supposed to be a link? RE: WGU Professional Development Courses? - teacher2 - 09-26-2017 I wasn't sure if you could access them if you weren't a student. So I looked gathered the sources separately. https://www.mindedgeonline.com/ https://www.franklincovey.com/About/continuing-ed.html https://www.lynda.com/ https://www.skillsoft.com/catalog/ RE: WGU Professional Development Courses? - jsd - 09-26-2017 I've used Lynda and Skillport both through my work and WGU to add supplemental material to WGU and to brush up on some non-academic topics. I'm not a big fan of Skillport for the most part, but it's certainly not awful if you're not paying for it. There's a lot of great stuff on Lynda though. It's various providers delivering content on the platform, though, so some things will be better than other.s |
