Study.com discount for TESU 2015 catalog? - dfrecore - 09-18-2017 I think I remember reading on here, but I can't remember if I have the details correct: TESU will only let you use the Study.com affiliate membership if you're an enrolled student AFTER sometime in 2016, correct? I have been enrolled forever, stupidly let life get in the way, postponed taking the SM TECEP exam, and then failed in the last term. I am in the 2015 catalog, and only have the capstone left to take - and would rather not spend $1500 if I don't have to. Thanks! RE: Study.com discount for TESU 2015 catalog? - davewill - 09-18-2017 Unfortunately, the elimination of the TECEP for the business capstone is independent of your catalog. I suppose you could let your enrollment lapse, or perhaps even withdraw, then re-enroll to get the study.com discount. Did you get your residency covered with TECEPs before that went away? If so, you definitely don't want to mess that up and have to pay a residency waiver. Plus, I don't have all of the courses I need for the new catalog (speech, Am Govt, Business Comm), so those plus the discounted residency waiver plus the discounted capstone is more than just the full-priced capstone I have left to pay. RE: Study.com discount for TESU 2015 catalog? - Gymfan15 - 09-19-2017 Did you ask them about the Study.com discount? I suppose it can't hurt to check regardless of your catalog. Otherwise, yeah, you're better off just paying for the capstone instead of going into the new catalog...it's annoying, but you're still saving money. |
