NOCTI as a Votech Alternative for Homeschoolers? - n2yoga - 09-10-2017

I just happened across the website for NOCTI while looking for NCCRS info. I can't tell if the NOCTI tests are open to the general public or not. The prices for the study guides are around $30 and the tests are around the same price. There is an impressive list of votech type courses that you can test out of for NCCRS credit. Has anyone heard of this company before? I'm thinking it might be an interesting alternative for homeschoolers.

I researched them middle of last year, I would recommend them for either an Associates or a Bachelors in Applied Science & Technology at TESU. As the Associates requires 18 credits and Bachelors requires 39 credits of "Technical Studies". This would be the cheapest/easiest/fastest option to get a BS AST in Technical Studies (for Vocational Trades training programs). Generally, I recommend a BALS or BSBA degree, but for those who have "technical vocational knowledge", this is the ticket for BSAST!

I took two tests with Nocti Business Solutions.  They offer online proctoring with ProctorU.  I'm not sure if tests through Nocti are open to the general public but tests offered through Nocti Business Solutions are.
