DSST Fundamentals of Cybersecurity - studyandpass5 - 08-22-2017 Hi all! Soooo... pursuing a degree in Information Systems, and Cybersecurity is a course that will be accepted into my degree. I've done some research already on the forum, and I'm gathering that it's a pretty difficult test. I have absolutely no cybersecurity background, so I would be taking this as completely new information. What are everyone's thoughts on it? Biggest thing for me would be what resources did you use? I'm a little intimidated by this test, but I'll need to take it eventually. Everyone here is a life-saver! Don't know what I'd do without this forum RE: DSST Fundamentals of Cybersecurity - ajs1976 - 08-22-2017 Some recent info is that the test was easier after it was revised. I used a SSCP study guide and some parts from CISSP study guides. Might be overkill. Start with a Darril Gibson book for SSCP or Sec+. Look for the Professor Messer Sec+ videos. See if there are Sec+ videos at Cybrary.it. |
