I haven't been on the forum for a while because I started a new job and basically put my courses on hold. Just wondering, has there been any update on the upper-level accounting courses at Study.com that are still awaiting ACE approval? Do we know when they're expected to get approved?

No update.

If you're going for the BSBA, I don't think the business courses were an issue. It was mostly the Psych courses.

I would still try to complete your study.com UL courses before Dec 31,2017 if you dont have alot left. Just incase if they don't get ace approved again for UL. I am rushing through mine atm.

If you were a business major, and worried about this, it really only applies to courses that have not been approved as UL by ACE, that TESU brings in as UL, and are going to be in your AOS. Since the TESU BSBA only requires 4 UL courses in the AOS, that's what you'll want to focus on.

Yea that's my focus atm =). I wish the guardian scholarship allowed you to purchase extra exams.

Hi Everyone,

We wanted to post again on this issue to clear up any confusion anyone might have! We've confirmed with TESU that any courses that are fully completed by December 31, 2017 with an ACE transcript will be awarded the old equivalencies. Specifically, the courses recommended as lower division by ACE but transferred into TESU as upper division will continue to do so until December 31, 2017.

We're still working diligently with ACE and NCCRS to get existing 300-level courses recommended for upper division credit (which does include upper level accounting courses), so that you can continue taking these courses for upper level credit after December 31, 2017. Please note, as we get upper division credit for these courses, new projects may be added or changed.

Best,
The Study.com Team
