Macro Economics - cardiacclep - 08-05-2017
Hi all,
Thought I would send out a quick update on the CLEP MacroEcon exam for those thinking about taking this one. This was by far my most painful test out exam. It is not so much hard as it is tedious to study for and I personally found the material rather dry. However, I did learn some cool things regarding the economy at its macro level for whatever that is worth. I needed to take this to satisfy prereq. As painful as I found studying for it, it was way cheaper and less time consuming than the traditional route. I studied over the course of month and had no previous econ experience.
Materials:
Mr Cliffords Econ videos on youtube is all you need. I also purchased his study guide and practice test for 10 dollars and was worth it.
I took the modern states macro econ course. Just OK not a enough IMO but a good free resource.
Freeclepprep.com practice test were also very useful. Also, the free macro test at 4test.com was good.
Marginal Revolution University: I found this youtube course a day before the exam. I wish I saw it a bit early as the video are well put together.
Khan Academy: An old trusted source to fill in the holes.
Those should be enough to get you a pass. Perhaps you may enjoy the material more than I did. This is not a passive mind dump exam....you will need to know the material. I highly recommend drilling practice questions and practice graphing until you have it down. Good luck.

Nope. I do not need Micro and personally do not find the material interesting. As I state above Mr Clifford ACDC youtube channel also has a Micro course that looks equally great or enough to get you a pass on the micro clep. Good luck.
