WGU B.S. in Business—Information Technology Management - allvia - 08-02-2017

I'm rethinking my options, for financial reasons, now that I've missed the mark on the Strategic Management TECEP for the BSBA at TESU.    I'm leaning towards applying to WGU for their B.S. in Business—Information Technology Management.  How does applying and transferring in credits to WGU work?

There are a number of course titles that seem to match up to ACE & CC credits I have already earned (90+), additionally I have a large # of misc IT credits - so part two of my question is if I apply to the WGU B.S. in Business—Information Technology Management will I have the option to see how my existing credits would transfer into another program at WGU - such as BS Information Technology or BS Data Management/Data Analytics?

Part 3 would be - does anyone know what courses through Study.com and Straighterline can be transferred into the WGU program(s)?

I'm not familiar with Study.com, but for Straighterline you can select you can click on "Partner Colleges" at the topand search for WGU, they'll have everything that transfers spelled out clearly.

Here's where you can find great spreadsheets showing what will transfer for which programs/courses. If the descriptions are vague, it's because they're pretty generous with what they'll accept for prior credit.

WGU is kind of weird about telling you exactly how everything will transfer in ahead of time. But they're waiving their application fee currently, so it might be worth applying and having an eval done.

I'm taking the apply and evaluation plunge. as JSD pointed out the application fee is being waived currently - so for the price of sending the few transcripts I think it is worth it.  I took your advice jessikalauren and researched a bit more on transfer values and I think I'm going to do quite well when the evaluation is complete. I suspect it will be a week or two before I know anything for certain on that. I'll update this thread when I get the results.
