Tesu and Enrolled status for loan deferment - Laddibugg - 07-05-2017 I'm definitely going to call TESU but I was wondering how long it took them to update your status as 'enrolled' with NLDS? Tesu and Enrolled status for loan deferment - ECH90 - 07-05-2017 Are you taking actual classes through them? My understanding is they don't report Teceps or epacks for loan deferment you have to be taking at least 6 credits of actual classes through them to be considered enrolled half or full time. Yep. 6 credits of classes... If the cornerstone counts as a class. Tesu and Enrolled status for loan deferment - ECH90 - 07-05-2017 I would assume it does I would call for sure! Tesu and Enrolled status for loan deferment - DavidHume - 07-05-2017 Is this for a loan that has already gone into repayment? And is this your first semester at TESU? I didn't request a deferment when I enrolled for December, but got an approval notice in March. The second time was shorter between enrollment and notification of deferment approval, maybe 5 weeks. Again, I didn't bother requesting the deferment as I was continuing to make payments, so you might be able to speed up the process if you contact the right folk. Tesu and Enrolled status for loan deferment - Laddibugg - 07-06-2017 I ended up just calling the loan company. They said schools usually take 30 to 60 days to report. They're going to temporarily defer the loans for that amount of time, and then it should automatically update my account when the school reports. I'm in repayment now...but if I can hold off on student loan payments without interest accruing, I'm going to take that opportunity to pay off some other things.. |
