I found that one easy. But still pointless. And no, the coming assignments are not any better, really. I'm halfway through this English Comp I class and i hate it so much I abandoned it and started Criminal Justice instead. My condolences!!!!

Tip for English 1 - do all the quizzes first. Then, set a schedule for your writing that overlaps your other SL courses. My boys wrote 1 day per week and the other days were spent on their other SL courses.

The quizzes are fairly easy, too. Being completely honest, I got 498/510 available exam points for Comp II just by taking a 3x5 notecard worth of notes on each section. Then, I needed a 41 average on all of my papers to pass.

Pro tip: If you stay on topic, format properly, and put the req. number of sources, you'll score well. No substitute for doing good work, but on a time crunch...

That's similar to what I decided to do. I'm going to continue with my other SL courses, and then after a couple months when I am ready to take a break and do ALEKS, I'm going to just download the specifications for all the writing assignments in Comp I so i can work on them without sitting around paying $99 a month for nothing.

I noticed a LOT of typos in the course material and quizzes... sometimes that made the quiz questions very confusing!
