Excelsior DSST equivalency - clep3705 - 06-30-2017
Where is the DSST to Excelsior course equivalency posted? With only one more test to be passed, I want to see proof of which DSST exams are considered upper level by Excelsior.
These DSSTs have already been passed:
Ethics in America
Business Ethics and Society
Introduction to World Religions
Substance Abuse
Civil War and Reconstruction
History of the Soviet Union
History of the Vietnam War
I'm guessing Introduction to Law Enforcement would be the easiest way to get upper level credits - IF Excelsior goes by the ACE recommendation. Is Cybersecurity difficult? Are there any upper level UExcel exams that are easier than DSST Introduction to Law Enforcement?

Excelsior has a Credit-By-Examination catalog on its website. However, it hasn't been updated since 2013 so your best bet is to ask your academic advisor. The DSSTs I've received UL credit on so far were:
Business Ethics and Society
Substance Abuse
A History of the Vietnam War
History of the Soviet Union
I haven't taken the remaining four UL DSSTs yet, so I can't say for certain if they will count towards UL credits.

Last time I checked, they had taken the CBE catalog completely off of their website, and never replaced it.
Here's what it says when you search for CLEP on their website though:
For Examinations Administered September 1, 2016 or Later
Excelsior College will accept the credit recommendation designated by the ACE website only. These examinations will only be awarded Pass/Fail grades. The credit recommendation as stated on the ACE website will determine the level and credit amount awarded for each examination.
