[SIZE="2"]To all that have taken both CLEP Principles of Management and DANTES Principles of Supervision [COLOR="navy"]how much overlap is there and what singular source of information (outside of IC) did you use?

Brian,

There is considerable overlap between the two. Principles of Supervision covers lower to mid-level management whilst Principles of Management covers all the way up to top-level corporate management. So you could say that the principles of supervision are contained within the principles of management.

I used IC and the Offficial DSST Book (it has a chapter covering Supervision).

Anyone studying well enough to pass Management should also be able to pass Supervision with very little extra study.
