Has anyone used any of the courses from the Institutes other than the ethics course for credit at Thomas Edison, and if so, which ones? I need to pick up some quick elective credit for a BALS.

None of the others are free.
There are other ways to get inexpensive credit. Saylor ($25/exam), ALEKS ($20/mo), Shmoop ($85/mo unlimited courses), Study.com Guardian scholarship (6 free courses), etc. That's in addition to SL, Study.com (regular), CLEP, DSST, Davar, etc.
