TECEP Computer Concepts & Apps - azt579 - 04-15-2017 I'm registered for the computer concepts & apps TECEP for the April term and I'd like to take the exam tomorrow. I've read that it's easy but I would still like to study for a few hours. Can anyone share what study materials they used for this exam? I would really appreciate it! Also assuming I pass, how long will it take for my grade to show up on my transcript? TECEP Computer Concepts & Apps - bjcheung77 - 04-15-2017 I just looked at your signature - you should be able to pass the course as you've taken Intro to Computing/MIS, etc. You may want to skim over their brochure of the course materials again. http://www2.tesu.edu/tecep_desc/CIS-107.pdf Just for kicks, they have this - take the Saylor practice test for the Networking https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/documents/OER_for_TECEP.pdf TECEP Computer Concepts & Apps - azt579 - 04-15-2017 I took both of those DSST's about a year ago and haven't taken another computer course or exam since, so i don't really remember much. I'll check out the Saylor networking practice test. Thanks! Hopefully I can find some terms on quizlet or another source that I can use to study as well. TECEP Computer Concepts & Apps - Aurelius - 04-15-2017 Honestly, if you can use a computer, find this forum, and take online classes - you can pass this test with a 80%. It truly is that easy. It truly is that easy. I agree with this, I just wanted to see if OP felt better doing "extra" work and trying to have a better score. Anyways, you can review their questions on the both TECEP brochures and also run a practice test with Saylor. No harm done, in learning/testing more (maybe a waste of time, but if you have time for it... go! go! do it!). TECEP Computer Concepts & Apps - dfrecore - 04-15-2017 I took it cold and passed. No computer background other than using one (no IT experience or anything of the sort). |
