Astronomy DSST - larry7crys - 11-16-2007

Hi everybody!
I just took the astronomy DSST today and I feel great! That was pretty easy. Since there is no study section for this here, I'll give you the down low on what to study.
1. Important people and contributions
2. The sun: what's happening inside, dark spots
3. Moon: phases, tidal waves
4. Stars: evolution, types
5. Look briefly at types of telescopes
6. Radio waves
7. Comets, Astroids, Meteor: Where they come from, what are they, dirty snowball

An awesome tool, if you can pick it up from a library, is Cliffs Quick Review: Astronomy. Read the entire thing and then do some quizzes online to help.

\The astronomy test is my favorite so far.

I took it after studying some free online sparknotes for only 2 or 3 hours the night before and ended up with a 56 which Excelsior gave me an "A" grade on my transcripts.

Best deal on the internet. Better than Ebay. Smile

I had never taken an astronomy course in my life.
