I'm not sure when this changed, but the residency waiver fee is no longer listed as $2,000. It's now $2,500...

Thomas Edison State University: Fees
Residency Waiver
$2,200 (in-state)
$2,500 (out-of-state)

This negates the partnership pricing they've been offering...

Sad

Well people really started to favor them for their pricing, so they raised it

At one point Excelsior was king around here. TESU took over based on cost. It now looks like it's slowly becoming COSC's time to shine, particularly if the bsba capstone TECEP goes away. though their requirements aren't as clear-cut and easy to meet (based on their higher UL requirement).

Great, applying for graduation in a few days didn't expect this extra cost! Wonder if they'll still honor the study.com partner rate?

Isn't the partner rate just 10% off? So now it'd just be 10% off $2,500 instead?

The page says the fees are effective 4/1... So hopefully you can apply before the end of the week and still save some money?

Tuition rates also just went up.

With a try...

I just posted about this on another thread. It goes into effect on April 1. I haven't applied for graduation and haven't had my final transcript evaluated yet (I just sent it over today!). I emailed them tonight to ask if I could go ahead and pay the current rate before April 1. I'll see what they say.

I don't know what it does to the affiliate member cost. Maybe it is still 10% off? But who knows. It was never advertised on the website as it was. That change is really, really frustrating as I am so close to graduation and wasn't planning to pay anything until closer to July. I still have to pass the capstone or all will be for nothing and the capstone starts this weekend.

I'm not seeing a difference from last year? Here's an archived version of the page from September:

Edit: oh, uh... I can't read. Slight increase ($11/cr) for NJ residents. No increase for the rest of us.

Yeah, tuition rates look the same. I just paid tuition for the capstone and it was 499 per credit hour except the study.com membership rate reduced it a little bit. I think only the residency waiver fees changed.
