So other than the basics like American Government (Study.com, SL, etc.) and Introduction to Comparative Politics are there any other affordable options out there?

Even any MOOC that people have done and maybe had a PLA on?

I don't know if this will help, but there is World Conflicts Since 1900 from UExcel. It is classified as a history course but could also be considered an International Relations course which could fall under political science.

In addition to the others mentioned, LSU IS has Intro to International Politics and Intro to Political Theory. $728/course

Otherwise, that's just not as popular of a major around here. Not much you take take, unfortunately.

I think all those come in to most schools as the same thing with American Government. That and the comparative one(s) really leave about 3 classes or 6cr, not too many options it would appear

Nothing cheap, AMU/APUS has tons of international relations and PS courses. $800 a course.

University of Texas has several self-paced online courses in government for $550/ course.

Adams State has a few Political Science law courses for $525 each.

CSU-Pueblo Independent Studies has a couple. U of Idaho Independent Studies has several. Either will run just under $500/3 credit course.
