Long Time Lurcker-Need Help - dbeth1523 - 01-28-2017

I am so glad that I found this board. I've been reading and reading for almost a year but have not put a plan in action, but now I've really got to do something. I applied for a position at the company that I've been with for 4 years but it required a degree. I was hopeful that this would've been waived due to all the positive feedback the Hiring Manager received... but No go. It has really gotten me down but it helped me realize that I need to take action NOW.

I have just been accepted to UNC for the summer program for BSBA-Finance. My hopes were to go in the Spring but their Admissions office is lacking a little.
I'm here in hopes to obtain guidance about TESC. I currently have a total of 50 credits.

Are you able to tell me which ones they will accept?
I would like to obtain an Associates being that I'm so close. Once completed I would continue with the BSBA-Finance with TESC.

My spreadsheet is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

They will accept all of these credits, but I'm not sure all of them will fit into the BSBA in Finance. For instance, Business Math, Employment Law, and Accounting Software Applications would all fit into the BSBA in General Management, but not into Finance. Those courses would go into the Free Electives area, but so would Intro to Business - so you would lose about 6 credits overall (I think). It's not terrible though, just annoying.

Not sure what Professional Transition is, so I don't know where that would apply at all, for any degree.

The rest of your courses will fit into the Gen Ed section of any degree, or the core of the BSBA.

I would recommend that you take at least one Finance course somewhere, because I can only find 5 courses that will fit into the AOS:

Security Analysis & Portfolio Management - TECEP
Money & Banking DSST OR Financial Institutions and Markets TECEP
Analyzing Financial Statements - CSU-Global
Corporate Finance - Davar Academy or Penn Foster
Multinational Business Finance - Davar Academy

So 1 additional course that does not duplicate any of these would be required.
