Principles of Finance/Money and Banking - mstcrow5429 - 10-27-2007 I'm not sure in what order to pursue "Principles of Finance" & "Money and Banking." Should I get through Principals of Finance first? I've read "Money and Banking" is not among the easier DSSTs. Is it harder or easier than CLEP Principles of Accounting? As for Money & Banking, others have recommended that you take Macroeconomics and Microeconomics right before you take M&B, and since you need both of those for the Finance degree, that might be a good idea for you as well. I haven't personally taken M&B or Prin of Acct, but from what I have read in the forum, it appears that M&B seems to be harder than Prin of Acct. I could be wrong though...wouldn't be the first time! Hope that helps somewhat, JoAnne
Principles of Finance/Money and Banking - mstcrow5429 - 10-28-2007 I took Macro and Micro courses in 2005/2006 respectively, got a B on both of them. Took "Principles of Accounting" the week it was discontinued. I guess I'll work on "Principles of Finance" while working on a college algebra course. Just couldn't get myself to learn enough on my own for the CLEP College Algebra exam. |
