Non-Western History at TESU - 25BangBang - 01-04-2017 I have had a less than stellar mentor for TESU's HIS-310, the Middle East, and am more than likely will get a low grade that will mess up my GPA. If I don't get this resolved, does anyone know if DSST Soviet Union, which transcribes as HIS-386, is considered non-Western history at TESU? Also, is there any other test that may count for non-Western history? Non-Western History at TESU - dfrecore - 01-05-2017 Yes, the Soviet Union DSST counts as non-western. The Vietnam War exams/courses will also count as non-western. If you don't want to take the DSST, there is also Study.com that you can use. Non-Western History at TESU - Adele - 01-05-2017 I was told that the Soviet Union DSST didn't count as non-western but the Vietnam one did. (I haven't taken either of those yet but they've been plugged into my evaluation.) If you're a student there you might want to call and make sure before you take the test. Non-Western History at TESU - dfrecore - 01-05-2017 Sorry if my info is incorrect, I would always get courses pre-approved for these types of things, because TESU can and will change their mind randomly. Once you get it pre-planned into your degree though, you should be good. RE: Non-Western History at TESU - jsh1138 - 01-09-2018 "The Vietnam War exams/courses will also count as non-western." I took the lower level Vietnam one and it has not counted as non-western on my transcript RE: Non-Western History at TESU - dfrecore - 01-09-2018 (01-09-2018, 08:37 PM)jsh1138 Wrote: "The Vietnam War exams/courses will also count as non-western." I said that based on what someone else said previously, but TESU can and does change their minds regularly. Which is why I also said to get it pre-approved.
